In the event of Fault Code 70, 82, 83, 512, 513 being informed through the App, the following corrective measures shall be taken:

Fan-alarm (Code 070)

Fault Name

Fan-alarm (code: 070)

Fault Type

Failure shutdown

Fault Condition

A fan alarm signal is detected and module overtemperature derating occurs.

Troubleshooting steps and methods

1. Enable fan self-check on App and check the fan status code. Convert the decimal number to binary. 0 indicate that the fan is working, 1 indicates that the fan is not working. Locate the faulty fan.

2. Check whether the fan fault is caused by the fans or the wiring. If the fan and wiring are normal, the inverter needs to be replaced.

Code 083 (Fan 2 stalled):

Fault name

Fan 2 stalled (Code 083)

Fault type

Alarm

Fault condition

1. Internal module of the system is abnormal.

2. Related cable connection or terminal of the system is abnormal.

Steps and method of troubleshooting

1. The inverter can continue running.

2. Check whether the related cable connection and terminal are abnormal, check whether there are any foreign materials or other environmental abnormities, and take corresponding corrective measures when necessary.

3. If the alarm occurs repeatedly, please contact Sungrow Service.

Code 513 (Fan 1 stalled):

Fault name

Fan 1 stalled (Code 513)

Fault type

In Fan 2 or Fan 1 are working at low speed, the alarms with codes 082 (82) and 512 will be displayed, respectively. If this happens, wait for the inverter to return to normal operation.
