Step 1
Use customer's owner account. Do the networking via wifi for this new charger.
Please use your phone’s wifi function to check if you can find the charger’s hotspot (refresh your wifi list to find the charger’s hotspot).
• If you can find the hotspot, go direct to “Add Device”, ignore the notification, click “Hotspot enabled, next” to do the local access.
• If you can’t find the hotspot, go to “Add Device”, follow the notification to enable the charger’s hotspot. Then go click “Hotspot enabled, next” to do the local access.
Step 2
Two methods to do the firmware update via cloud.
• Method 1: Use owner account to update via iEnergyCharge APP.
Update the AC22E-01 charger’s firmware to LE-01.1E1.001.003.34 or above.
• Method 2: Use installer or aftersales account to do the update via iEnergyCharge Web.
Update the AC22E-01 charger’s firmware to LE-01.1E1.001.003.34 or above.
step 3
Change the charger to EMS mode with owner account.
Choose EMS in the charging mode drop-down box, confirm setting. Then exit the local access. Restart the charger to activate the setting.
step 4
Confirm the charger is under the same local network with iHM (no matter it’s wifi connection or ethernet cable connection). Use iHM’s local access function, follow the picture to search
In the end, create a plant in iSolarCloud with iHM, then you can see all the equipment of your own plant.
