What happens to the hotspot before, during, and after the commissioning process?

Applicable to SxxxxS series

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Before commissioning

When the DC side of the microinverters is connected and DC power begins to flow, the hotspot will activate automatically, enabling the commissioning process to begin.

During commissioning

The hotspot will remain active for the duration of the commissioning process.

After commissioning

Once the commissioning process is complete, the microinverter hotspot will automatically deactivate after one hour.

If the MicroInverter loses connection to the network due to router issues, password changes, or distance limitations, the hotspot will reactivate. Additionally, you can manually enable the hotspot remotely via iSolarCloud, as explained in section 6. Remote Monitoring of the User Manual.
