Negative load data of SHxxRS inverters in iSolarCloud

Applicable to: SHxxRS series

Updated over 3 weeks ago

In the current application of inverters, negative load data often appear in iSolarCloud Monitoring System, which is abnormal.

Under normal circumstances, loads consume energy and should only have positive values, while the positive battery data represents discharge and the negative value represents charging; The positive value of grid data represents the grid-side output, and the negative value represents the feed-in.

Load data is obtained through the Smart Energy Meter (COM2). Usually, when the load displays negative values, we need to confirm whether the cable connection of Smart Meter is correct and whether CTs is connected in reverse.

Check the CTs direction as follows: GRID --> LOAD

If the CTs are correctly installed, follow the reverse polarity method correction.

For further information, please download the user manual here.

This manual is intended for professional technicians who are responsible for installation, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of inverters, and users who need to check inverter parameters. The inverter must only be installed by professional technicians.

The professional technician is required to meet the following requirements:

  • Know electronic, electrical wiring and mechanical expertise, and be familiar with electrical and mechanical schematics.

  • Have received professional training related to the installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical equipment.

  • Be able to quickly respond to hazards or emergencies that occur during installation, commissioning and troubleshooting.

  • Be familiar with local standards and relevant safety regulations of electrical systems.

  • Read this manual thoroughly and understand the safety instructions related to operations.
