  1. After logging with your account, select on the left bar "Settings", and then inside this tab, select the plant and click on "Common Parameter Settings". Note that the Initial Grid should have been Already set.

2. In the Common Parameter Settings, navigate to Power Control.

Note: After the backup mode is enabled, the battery can always reserve at least the setting SOC when the grid is available, to make sure a certain battery capacity is guaranteed when grid fails. Once the SOC reaches this setting value and the grid is available, the battery will stop discharging even though the system may still be in the set discharge time period.

Please be aware, that this Reserved Battery SOC cannot be used in daily operation as it is reserved for a power outage.

Through iSolarCloud app:

  1. Similarly as in the webpage, in the Plant Overview, select the Device tab.

  2. Choose the Inverter you want to activate the Backup Mode.

  3. Scroll right until you can reach Settings.

  4. Within Settings, enter "Power Control".
